Hello!
My name is Shayne, and I am the school counselor at East Side Elementary. I began in this role during the 2023-2024 school year. I previously worked for a counseling agency that also contracted with families at East Side, so I have been around the school for many of the last 8 years. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and I hold a master's degree from Liberty University. My wife and I have one daughter, and we currently live in Greenwood. I truly enjoy the work we do here in this town- working to educate students for a brighter future. However, I am most proud of the team first aspect and the special care and attention given to all of our students. We strive to ensure that Lancers grow academically but also individually, socially, and emotionally.
